All critics then and now agree Houdini was the greatest showman of our time. We've also posted extensively on his skill as a scientist and technological innovator. So we think he would enjoy this charming illusion by showman Nate Staniforth, who recently defined himself with this quote on his blog:
“He was acutely aware of the inadequacy of all human means of speaking truth, but his artistic intuition told him that those means might be composed in such a way as to allow the truth to appear. Against his will, he found that to be an honest man he had to be a poet.”
